They are a manufacturing business who partner with several global organisations. The headcount is less c400, and based at a single site, although they have several divisions across the UK, with a total headcount of 3000. Yes, ER and Industrial relations play a key part in the role, but you won’t be expected to own the case load instead this is pushed back to your line managers.
Current challenges are retaining and attracting good talent, and they are always looking at ways of improving recruitment processes, and creating a working environment that people feel content, rewarded and enjoy where they work.
This role will have the support of HR Assistant and will report into a HR Manager. The HR Manager partners with the senior management and this role will support the middle management team.
You’ll currently be operating as an HR Generalist, will have previous experience of supporting an industrial population and ideally Union experience.
